Call for Abstracts extended to June 30th, 2017
The First Italian Citizen Science Conference will be held in Rome in November 23rd – 25th 2017, with the aim to explore the state of the art in this relatively new promising field, outline paths for future activities, foster the involvement of citizens in environment centered research and thereby contribute to a better understanding of nature and to a deeper appreciation of its value.
The presentation of Italian projects, networks, organizations, e-services, and platforms in a genuine international context will allow participants to focus on the on-going work in Italy and in addition allow them to discuss opportunities of collaborative work involving local, national and international levels.
Specific sessions will be dedicated to: ·
- Biological monitoring trough Citizen Science
- Citizen Science and Society
- National Citizen Science Networks
- Platforms and e-services for Citizen Science

The Conference Scientific Committee welcomes your abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations. The submission period is April 20th, 2017 – June 5th, 2017. All submissions should be made online.
