ECSA is thrilled to launch an open call for young citizen scientists and students interested in joining the Citizen Science 4 Health conference in Enschede, The Netherlands.
Are you a citizen scientist or a student engaging in a citizen science project related to health? Would you like to be part of an exciting conference with keynote lectures by renowned experts workshops, solution rooms, posters, and showcases? We would like to support you with the conference costs! Through ECSA, you can apply to get your conference fees covered – we will support up to ten applicants! To be eligible for financial reimbursement you should:
– Be actively involved in a citizen science project related to the conference topics
– Be no older than 35 years
– Be a resident of the EU

To apply for a chance to get funding for the conference fees, please outline your motivation to attend the conference, also including why you would require funding of the conference fees, in a short motivational letter (500 words maximum). Please also state your country of residence and your date of birth in order to proof eligibility. Please send your motivational letter to info@ecsa.ngo no later than the 11 October. Your application for funding will be reviewed based on the following criteria:
Compliance with Eligibility: Ensuring all basic eligibility criteria are met.
Project Relevance: The alignment and potential impact of your citizen science project concerning the conference themes.
Significance of Financial Support: A clear and compelling explanation regarding the necessity of funding for your participation.
Contribution Potential: The degree to which your participation might enhance and contribute to the conference and its objectives.
Inclusivity and Diversity: Prioritising applicants who bring diverse perspectives, thereby enriching the conference dialogue and learning.
