Breaking boundaries within citizen science: taking citizen science into schools

Teachers all over the world are expected to provide their students with enquiry-based science learning experiences.
In response to numerous requests for extra time to complete proposals, and queries about the different possible session formats, we have agreed to extend the deadline for submissions until 1 November 2019.
The call for proposals for the third international ECSA conference is now online! Submissions are welcomed under eight themes and in several formats - you can read more about them on the conference website.
What is the first thing you should do when you need to label hundreds of millions of galaxies based on their shape or structure? Ask for some help, of course!
The Doing-it-Together science project (DITOs) has been a milestone in the development of ECSA. It was the first EU-funded project to significantly enhance the capacities of the organization by multiplying staff and also giving us some money to do knowledge sharing activities.
