RISE | engaged Research In the Social Economy

RISE (engaged Research In the Social Economy) is an Erasmus+ funded project that aims to build the skills of social economy organisations to partner with research institutes. This will enable more engaged research (ER), a practice that creates more socially impactful projects through collaboration between researchers and communities.

The project goal is to create a host of newly ‘research ready’ organisations across the EU social economy through a tailored learning programme. To do so, we aim to create a training programme focused on Engage Research, specifically tailored to the needs of Social Economy Orgainzation, which will be conceptualized and validated through a comprehensive pilot and learning recognition system.

To increase awareness of the project and its activities, RISE partners will share project results, facilitate networking, and promote the value of ER via a strong communications strategy.

ECSA activities and milestones

As the lead of the Work Package on Impact and Sustainability, ECSA will develop a publication outlining the project, including the concept, methodology, findings from the co-definition process, a summary of course content, and data from the pilot. It will feature pictures, testimonials, case studies, and links to relevant websites. This publication will also present findings for sharing and replication among stakeholders, while also identifying pathways for sustainability and scaling up.
