The ECSA Strategy Workshop took place prior to the science-policy workshop on 27 April. Apart from sharing news on the latest projects and organizational developments of ECSA and its members, the workshop was dedicated to refine the ECSA strategy. Operating as a separate entity for about a year now, ECSA has made considerable progress in terms of organization building, visibility and tripled its membership in the past months. Just about time to prepare our next steps. Tasks of the workshop included to formalize our strategy and priorities for the coming year(s), to lay down its implementation in a work plan of activities and to establish a fundraising plan along with the necessary internal mechanisms for putting all of these concepts into action. Discussions were focused and fruitful, so that a set of draft documents has been prepared, which is now in the final round of comments and will be approved in the next of our monthly Steering Committee web conferences.
